Beijing Plants Forrest

A 1,000 m² immersive light-and-interaction hall where children explore a living, projected botanical world — sensing props, chasing fossils, and painting the floor with light.

Project overview

An immersive light-interaction experience inside a botanical exhibition hall in Beijing — in continuous operation since 2021.

The 1,000 m² space layers projection mapping with a multi-channel blending system and depth-camera sensing, turning walls and floor into a responsive natural landscape.

A prop-sensing tag system lets children use RFID devices to explore and discover different fossils across the venue, with prop-based payment toys extending play into a collectible journey.
